For three years (2005-08) I was Artistic Director at Gottsunda Dans & Teater (GDT) in Uppsala. Repertoar development, directing, fundraising and communication with municipal and governmental authorities was my main responsibilities.

 

At GDT I initiated and developed the national project NYA PJÄSER – NYA VÄRLDAR (New plays – New worlds), realized in cooperation with 5 other theatre institutions; Helsingborgs Stadsteater, Folkteatern Gothenburg, Dalateatern, UngScen Öst and Intercult. The project focused on developing new written plays reflecting the cultural diversity in Swedish society today. It resulted in 4 plays, 3 productions, a tour and a final festival gathering all productions at The City Theatre/Skärholmen.
